What is your Return Policy?

At The Equipment Coach, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@theequipmentcoach.com and we’ll look into it immediately.

6. Restocking Fees

In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.

Product Description

The Astra GA-021 is a one-group-head automatic espresso machine built entirely from stainless steel, giving it a clean, professional look that holds up to years of daily commercial use. Automatic dosing lets you program exact shot volumes so every espresso pulls to the same standard, while the self-tamping, high-density group head compresses the puck consistently without relying on the operator's technique. A copper boiler paired with Astra's thermocycling system holds brew temperature steady even during back-to-back extractions, so your first shot of the morning and your hundredth taste the same.

Thermocycling Brew Temperature Control

Astra's thermocycling system circulates water through the high-density group head between shots, preventing the temperature drop that happens in conventional machines when they sit idle between pulls. In a busy cafe, this means you can move from steaming milk to pulling a shot without waiting for the group head to recover. Combined with the copper boiler's rapid heat transfer, the system delivers the kind of temperature consistency that experienced baristas notice immediately in the cup.

All-Stainless Construction with Brass Fittings

The Gourmet series uses a full stainless steel exterior rather than the coated steel panels found on the MEGA line. Brass flare fittings at every water connection point resist corrosion and hold tight over time, reducing the risk of slow leaks that can damage countertops and cabinetry. Color panel options are available if you want to match the machine to your shop's branding. The GA-021 ships with one cool-touch steam wand for frothing, a hot water dispensing button for americanos and tea, and includes both a single and double portafilter.

The machine runs on a quiet rotary-vane Procon pump and connects to a standard plumbed water line (30 to 50 psi, filtered and softened) with a 1/4-inch inlet and 1/2-inch drain hookup. It draws 2700W at 220V and requires a dedicated circuit. A 5-foot power cord is included. Handcrafted in the USA from US-standard hardware.
